Is My iPhone 5's Lock Button Suppoest To Rattle?

I just got the iPhone 5, and the lock button is like slightly rattling, my friend had the same problem, he took it back got another one and it does the same, I'm just wondering if I should take it back, or if they are meant to do that, it only rattles when I shake it.

That is normal for the button to rattle, don't worry my iPhone does it too

Yeah, it's supposed to rattle. The thing is just a piece of garbage. I don't know why everyone is so anxious to get one. It's not any better than any of the older ones. The phone still sounds just as horrible as the older ones, and drops just as many calls.

This is just luck of the draw.

I went through 4 different 3G's due to various issues (battery issue, camera randomly stopped working, etc.) and one of the four had the loose lock button.

One of the four had a loose home button, and one had a loose vibrate switch.

One was perfect, except it "rattled" when it vibrated.

Go figure.

My iPhone 4 doesn't have one loose bit on it, so I'm going to cross my fingers that it doesn't malfunction in any way.

  • Why is it that every time i lightly tap my iPhones power button it makes a rattle noise? I have an iPhone 5s and i don't know why its making a noise when i gently tap the power button. (Tapping it not pressing it) I've had the screen replaced twice and Maybe that's why? But i also had a very tight case on it maybe making it loose. But i was wondering if i should take it to the carrier store and get it fixed or get a new phone (i have insurance on it). Is it normal for it to be loose?

Besides the buttons my iPhone is in perfect condition. My phone carrier is straight talk, from Walmart. They don't offer insurance or a warranty or anything like that. So I was wondering if it was possible to replace these buttons?
