Is my iPhone considered unlocked?
I have an iPhone 4 (AT&T) contract ended. Does this mean my iPhone is considered unlocked? Cause I can go on wi-fi and everything. I want to sell it

No. (You could always go on Wi-Fi.) An unlocked cell phone is one which has had the carrier lock removed. The carrier lock is software that keeps a GSM cellphone from working on carriers other than the one that you bought it from. You usually have to pay for this service, though it is possible to do it yourself. You can sell it locked, which only means it can only be used on AT&T. Or you can pay for it to be unlocked or google how to unlock it yourself.
No, phones do not automatically unlock at the end of the contract. You have to ask the carrier - in this case AT&T - to unlock it, they should do it for free as long as your account is in good standing.
I don't think it'll matter whether it's locked or unlocked when you sell it. That's because even if it's locked, it'll still work on AT&T, and lots of people use AT&T. Just make sure you say in the eBay listing whether it's unlocked or still locked to AT&T.
