Is my iPhone/iMessage being hacked? Or is it a glitch?
A couple days ago, I sent a message a saying "yes" to my sister before I drove back home, 10 mins later a message was sent saying "no" but I don't remember sending that message and it was impossible for me to send it bc I was driving. Then today, I asked my sister a question and a few mins later a message saying "hey" was sent but I don't remember sending it and has nothing to do with the conversation? Is it a glitch? Am I sending the messages accidently? Or am I being hacked? I'm a bit paranoid. Any ideas?
IPhones are not primary hacking targets, however, they can be used to transfer viruses to computers. Most likely, there's either a software glitch or you are accidentally sending messages. If it continues, you might try calling Apple. If all else fails, update your iOS and restore the system defaults. If that doesn't help, your phone may have been hacked or broken somehow. In that case, get a new phone. Personally, I wouldn't worry about hacking too much. Apple products are some of the most secure electronic devices around. Don't forget to pick a best answer if this helps!
It is very possible your phone is being hacked by someone and your life could be in danger. Turn off your phone, take out the battery (they can turn on your phone remotely and find out where you are if the battery is still in it) Throw away your phone in the woods or somewhere you don't usually go to get them off your track. I'm not sure what you have done but someone is not happy with you.
- Your phone number is now being used for iMessage on a new iPhone? The texts i send from my macbook are going to my mom's phone. I checked the send&receive thing on her phone but it only has her number on it. Anyone know how to stop this?
- Is the iMessage glitch fixed with iOS 8? I have an iPhone running iOS 8 on it but I would like to switch to an Android phone. However, I heard that imessage had a glitch when you switched over where you couldn't receive messages. I was curious to know if that glitch has been fixed with iOS 8 or if I need to do something else to fix the problem before I switch.
- Is my email being hacked into? I was checking my emails on my iPhone and for one of my accounts a pop up said something like "POP3 verify your account info" but my account is up-to-date. I can login into it and send and receive emails fine. So why did that pop up appear if everythings fine? Was I getting hacked? Answers will be appreciated thanks.
- Is it normal for my iPhone 5 to glitch occasionally? - 1 It glitches now and then. Not bad, but I thought this was normal. My draw free app shuts off every time I try to use it, I reinstalled it. But, anyway, that's not the only glitch. Just wondering if that was normal and what caused it.
