Is my iPhone safe to charge?
Earlier today, the bottom half of my iPhone 5s was submerged in water. There appears to be no noticeable damage, the battery is now on a very low percentage and I was wondering if it is safe to charge.

No. Do not attempt to charge the battery because were there to be any moisture inside and the electricity from the charger to arc it may cause the iPhone to fry. Let the phone dry on its own without any help such as using a blow dryer to dry it. Don't use anything to dry it, just let it dry in the air for a full day and night. Turn the phone on the next day and if it it turns on as usual then you may charge the phone. Some people may tell you it's okay to charge the phone now because there appears to be no noticeable damage. It isn't worth taking a chance on ruining the phone by charging it now as all it takes is one short to render the phone useless. I'd rather be safe than sorry. By the way, I dropped my iPhone 6s in the pool and let it dry for two days and it worked after it dried out.
