Is the 6 plus worth it for me if?

IIm currently using iPhone 5 and often read PDF s on it but I feel it's not quite sufficient for enjoyable reading, sometimes I have to get the phone near my nose. IIm thinking of getting the 6 plus but doubting if the $950 (the price in my country) will be worth it as I don't play games and watch movies. I browse, read, and email a lot though. I just want something mobile that can be pulled out anytime and anywhere so Kindle is not really an option. Other alternatives is Android phones but I don't think I can't handle Android, aesthetically and how it gets slow (I don't know about the current ones though, my last Android was S4 and I hated it).

If you want a phone then iPhone 6+ is pretty worth it. But if you want a tablet with calling-texting over internet and everything else, iPad Mini 2 or 3 is the one to go for. And you can keep your iPhone 5. If you really want to upgrade the phone, get the iPhone 6+ and you won't regret. You can find it cheaper though if you don't mind importing it. If you need unlocked iPhone 6+ cheaper than retail at reasonable price, mail me.

If you need to read PDFs then a larger screen is probably worth it since PDF's are a fixed format, meant to be read on the size screen the PDF was designed for (which is generally textbook size or 8.5 x 11 size).

If you are reading fiction that way then you are straining your eyes for nothing, Most real fiction ebooks (for example, most Kindle ebooks) adapt to your screen size and let you choose the font and font size you want. Amazon has the most free modern ebooks but yoru account does requires a credit or debit card in its settings. Or for a solution that does not require a credit card, try Wattpad - install the app and make an account at Wattpad.com. I sent a couple of free ebooks from Wattpad to my phone
