Is the Illinois permit test easy?

How many questions are on the test? How long did it take you to take it? How many tries did it take you to pass it? Did you read the manual? If so, how many times did you read it? Did you use iPhone apps? Did they help? Can you rely on them? I'm taking the test tomorrow, and I could use some advice.

I live in colorado but there were 15 question, i read the manual once all the way through and i passed with missing 1, took me about 5 minutes.might help: P

I believe there are twenty questions (maybe twenty-five?), and you can only get five questions wrong. It took me ten minutes to take it. And I barely studied for it. I passed, too. The only questions that I got wrong were the really specific questions about how old a child has to be to be in a car seat, and the alcohol levels and stuff.

All of the permit tests are easy. They are mostly common sense. Just read every question and think it through and go with your gut answer, and hopefully you've studied some. You can look up Illinois traffic laws and that might help. I took mine in Ohio and you had to get a certain percentage of questions right, and I think it was like 75%. Once you get at least 75% of the questions right I passed, and I could only skip so many questions. It's really not that difficult though. But I would recommend at least reading over the manual or studying book you have at least once.

Yeah, I passed it with flying colors. I passed on my first try. No iPhone apps (took it in 2008).It's easy and common sense stuff. Don't stress too much!
