Is the iPhone 3GS still usable/ worth it in 2015?
I'm thinking about getting a 16GB iPhone 3GS for £34 at CEX (Thrift Store) Mainly for music and taking pictures. I could go for the 32GB But there are none local to me, and I don't like ordering 2nd hand phones and tablets without seeing them in person first.
I'm thinking about jailbreaking the phone because I want to have a better experience. I know how to unbrick the phone if all fails, So I'm not worried about anything.
I know it does not go past iOS 6.1 Which is fine because I never really liked iOS 7
Opinions, please? If I ever get bored of it I could always sell it on ebay for alot more than what I paid for it…
I'll be getting a 12 month warranty aswell.
Does the USA have CEX Stores?
Its ok, but I wouldn't recommend it since it is the 2nd newest iPhone among those that don't get updates. I'd get at least the 4s which does still get updates.

- Would my Iphone backup still be usable? Right now i'm running iOS 7.1.2 and i want to downgrade my iphone to 7.0.6 (to jailbreak it). If i backup my iphone while running 7.1.2 could i still put everything back on while running 7.0.6?
- Is the iPhone 5s still worth getting in 2015? Is it getting obsolete? My mom might be considering on getting me an iPhone, but she said that i Can't get a 6. She might be getting me a 5s instead. I don't know when yet though. How many years will Apple support software updates? It is already almost two years old and is it still a worth getting?
