Is the iPhone 4 still a decent phone?

I'm looking to grab a new smartphone, my android Sony Xperia phone is old and very slow. I hear iOS7 slows down some people's iPhone 4's, but not others.

Is it still a plausible phone nowadays. I say this particular phone because my friend is selling his real cheap and I've tested it out and it's pretty smooth compared to my current phone.

Any iPhone 4 users out there that an comment on the performance here?

It is a great phone as long as you DON't GET IOS7 if you do that then you might as well "accidentally break it"

Apple will be coming out with a update soon sometime in March to fix a lot of the bugs in iOS 7 but I have iOS 7 on my iPhone 5C and it works just fine my sister also has iOS 7 and her phone is a iPhone 4 so if I we're you when you get the iPhone 4 update to iOS 7 if it isn't already updated to it.

Well if you have an iphone 4 you can't get ios7 you need an iPhone 4S for that. And no ios doesn't slow down anything! Get the iPhone 4S it's better lol and its still $1 with contract!

IPhone 4 suffers from a few 'issues'
Reception is terrible
Sound quality is poor
Power Button breaks easily
Home Button breaks easily.
Rear and screen are easily damaged.
Still, if it is cheap enough it may be worth it.

  • Where can i get a decent used iPhone 4 for under £100? I'd love to have an iPhone but i don't have the cash, it would have to be to either UK or European specification and be unlocked.a 4 would be good, a 4S would be even better. I don't want to spend any more than £120. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
  • Where can i find a decent iphone 5 charger that isn't apple? I've been through so many apple chargers and they all somehow stop working. Just looking for some places where i could purchase one. Preferably a store, not online.
  • What's a decent wireless router? It's only me and I'll only need to run my iPhone and computer off of the wireless. I'll be using my Xbox with a hard line, so I'm not sure if that effects the wireless speed. I just want something that won't cause me to lose speed. What are some choices under say, $30?
  • WHAT'S A DECENT SPEAKER SYSTEM? I'm after a decent 2.1 speaker system. 2 speakers and subwoofer. Just good quality and bass.must be compatable for a PC and has a AUX present for use of iPhones.
