Is the iphone 4 too outdated?

I can get it for 300.is it worth it?
that's 400 cheaper than the 5 (which is 700)
so is it worth it?
will i have access to all of the latest apps still?

Wow this is terrible. I hate false advertising that apple does. You should know that the iphone is a overpriced rubbish phone.a good android phone from htc, samsung or sony will beat the iphone 10 times while being half the price.

It depends on what apps. If you mean things such as Facebook and email then yes it will still be great. But If you are into playing games and more intensive stuff like playing HD video then you may want to consider the 4S or 5.

People caring if their phone is outdated if it works then its a good phone

You can still get the latest apps but if you want to play heavy games i would recommend that you get an iphone 5 or a 4s

All the apps will work on iPhone 4 but iPhone 4 be outdated by Apple officially after September 2013.So don't buy iPhone 4, spend $100 more and get the iPhone 4S. Just a suggestion. And iPhone 5 is not $700, it starts from $649. You can get it a lot cheaper if you don't buy it from Apple or through your carrier. Get it unlocked from outside your carrier or Apple, it will cheaper. If you can buy iPhone 5, then you won't have to worry about anything, it will be OK for couple of years. If you need iPhone 5 unlocked at very reasonable price, mail me.

All the apps like Instagram will work on it, but Apple is going to stop producing iPhone 4 and 4S, however, the stock will last for a few months after Apple stops making them.It'll then stop supporting the next version of iOS and very soon become outdated, so you might as well spend your money on something that comes in your budget and isn't old. Androids also support Instagram you know.
