Is the iPhone 5 battery as bad as people say it is?
I'm thinking of getting an iPhone 5 but everyone who I know has one complains about the battery life. However, those people weren't previous iPhone users so I was wondering if anyone knows from their experience that transitioning from an iPhone 4 to a 5 wouldn't make you notice the difference?
Nah, the battery life just stays longer
I have a iPhone 5 and when I got the phone it was awful I wouldn't get a full day out of it! But as I have had it for longer and charge it every night for 9-10 hours it gradually gets better and better. Xx Get one they are amazing!
Many of have the problem with their iPhone 5 battery. But its cause varity of reasons the way of aour iphone use. How much we're using and in what circumstances. Not all user facing this problem.
To avoid poor bettary life try to use these things also to make long your bettary life -
Turn off location services for everything
Dim your screen brightness all the way down
Kill those notifications
Turn off push email and other push services
Kill those power hungry apps.
I moved from the iPhone 4 to 5 in December. I would say the battery life is a bit shorter than for the 4, but not to the point where it doesn't last a day, often 2 days for my usage pattern.
The faster processor, addition of 4G LTE (fast cellular data), and larger screen draw more juice but make it a great trade off.
I really liked my 4 and like the 5 even more.
The iPhone is most powerful in function. It makes the battery always be not enough. Most of the time, you are playing games, listening music or watch video, which consume the power to serious. I think if you only make telephone and net workd, the battery is enough.
Battery life is good, the media likes to overblow everything just like they did with the maps even though only a small amount of people were affected. The funny thing is I read some posts on here where people complain they lost 50% of their battery and then said they used it 5 hours straight for texting and games… Lol… As if the battery should last forever.
I have had an iPhone 5 for 4 months and the battery life is unacceptable. I wish I had listened to people who complained before I bought it. I have diasabled location, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE. I only send a few texts everyday and still can only get 6-7 hours. The 6.1.2 patch didn't help at all. I would say not buy until they fix the problem, if they ever do.
