Of course the iPhone 5 is better than the iPhone 4S because it has a larger 4-inch display with higher resolution than the iPhone 4S 3.5-inch display, the iPhone 5 has more powerful A6 processor whereas the iPhone 4S has A5 processor. The iPhone 5 is more sleek at 7.6mm where the iPhone 4S has a thickness of 9.3mm.
Better in terms of what? The iPhone 5 has 4G and it's thinner but also longer and more expensive; also it won't take existing accessories w/o an adapter. Lastly, if there's no 4G service or none that's reliable, that's one less argument for getting the iPhone 5.
Of course it better! The main features are: Bigger screen, Thinner, IOS 6, New design, Better headphone and speakers, better camera.
