Is the iPhone 5's screen strong?

My stupid *** friend dropped my phone because she got excited when something happened. It fell flat on its screen onto cement from about 2 - 3 feet above the ground.

Thankfully it didn't crack but I'm so paranoid because I literally just got this phone and that was the first time it ever dropped and I'm always so careful with it until she held it.

I feel like the screen will be less strong the next time it accidentally drops because of the fall it had today.

Is it more likely that the screen will crack if I accidentally drop it next time because of the fall it had today? And is the iPhone 5 screen strong? Stronger than the previous iPhones?

Very strong it will only brake if you throw it onpurpose

It is pretty strong. It doesn't have Gorilla glass but it is as strong as sapphire crystals. Unless there's a chip in the screen, the structural integrity of the glass has not been compromised. If it had chipped or cracked it would be weak. Your friend is clearly an idiot and shouldn't handle small children. Put a case on it.

Well your screen survived so thats proof enough that it is strong but one thing for sure is not strong is the aluminium body around it. I dropped mine on the road by accident as I was getting out of my car and there were no scratches on the screen but the all 4 corners of the phone were chipped up pretty bad so first thing first get a cover for it straightaway.

Lesson learned… Don't let anyone hold your phone, and keep it in pocket when not using it. People drop stuff all the time. I've dropped mine on cement just having it in my hand and having a car door bump it… And never had a problem.
The casing on 5 is aluminum now so that won't break.
