Is the iPhone 5 worth the money? - 1

Or is it just hype? I understand I'll get some very opposite answers on this but please back them up with bullit points and facts, not hate or fanboy redderic cause that's what fools do.

No its definitely not worth it, I got mine and 3 days later it crashed, I got it fixed and then my mum accidently pushed it off the table and it smashed, and the table is on carpet:/ so don't get it if you want to waste your money.

Well, it is a good phone.
The hardware is solid.
The appstore is huge
But,
The Galaxy S3 is cheaper
The s3 has a SD slot
The hardware is better on the Galaxy
They run equally the same though
Galaxy has a bigger display but a smaller appstore
And vice versa for the iPhone 5.

Sorry about the grammar.

I have the iPhone 4s, and my bff has the iPhone 5. From what I can tell, they are almost exactly the same. The iphone 5 weighs a bit less, and is slightly longer, but from what I can tell (and I've messed around on her phone a lot since she got it, lol), there's really not much of a difference between the earlier phones. I can't compare it to android phones as I don't have one.

Personally, I wouldn't rush out and spend all that money on an iPhone 5 when I could get a phone that is basically the same for less money.

Yea but the Galaxy S3 is better and the iphone 5 is just like the iphone4 so I would get that personally. Or an android

Well, it depends on your personal preference and what phone/eco-system you are currently in. If you have a Windows PC, with an Android or Windows tablet and a feature or Android phone, I would get either the Galaxy S3 or a Google Nexus 4. But if you currently have a Mac, with an iPod or iPad and you are familiar with the Apple App Store and iTunes, iPhone would be the best route for you. If you are looking for a fast phone, I'd get the iPhone. In multiple tests the iPhone 5 has beaten the GS3 in speed due to lighter software, but the Android is an open source platform, where the iPhone would need to be jailbroken to install non-Apple Approved apps. Both platforms have their pluses and minuses, but depending on preference, carrier, location and your current eco-system, it is your choice. The GS3, Nexus 4, and iPhone are great devices which ever way you go.

  • Is the paid version of minecraft for iphone worth the money? Minecraft in the App Store is $6.99. My son wants to buy it and I want to make sure it's worth it. I want to be sure he won't be tired of it in 3 days ya know?
  • Is the iPhone 4 worth all the money? I want an iPhone 4 soon now that I have some cash available but I'm not waiting for the iPhone 5. And I don't want 4s. Just plain 4. But each month has a large payment and I'm paying from my own pocket. (I'm 16) So is it worth it or should I stick with my decent phone (not a smartphone) and get a Macbook Air? Haha
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • Is it worth the money for a iPhone 4s? I currently have a 2 year old blackberry and want to change to a iPhone 4s. But is it worth the price? The reason i want an iPhone 4s and not an iPhone 5, is because 1, the iPhone 5 is way to expensive for my liking and 2, i have a docking station and lots of spare chargers for apple products that would come in no use at all for the iPhone 5. So is it worth the money? How does paying by contract work? (I've never been on contract)
