It is better in terms of the wireless charging capability and other extra features.
Despite being fairly similar looking they are 3 generations apart. There have been many technological advancements. Mainly speed and processing power. However, some good hardware additions are the improved camera and wireless charging capabilities.
Of course the 8 is better than the 6.
Other than losing the earbud jack it seems better, the one my wife got seems to have longer battery life. I was pleased that they didn't seem to be selling any ridiculously low memory models of the iPhone 8
I would say you have no need up upgrade yet if you are using a 6. If money is a concern SE or 6s might be good options.
I almost got one but since the iPhone 6 had a scratch, T-Mobile would not take it as a trade-in give us the second one free with new number added. So I only have a scratched screened iPod Touch that used to be an iPhone 6
- My mom and i got the same phone and same plan yet her internet loads all the time and mine never does? Two iPhone 7+. Same unlimited data plan. Yet literally no matter where I'm, nothing that uses data loads unless I'm connected to Wi-Fi. Yet my mom's internet loads no matter where she is. It's even happened that we're in the same place trying to load the same thing and hers loads while mine doesn't. Yes, I have my data turned on. I've made sure all my data settings are identical to my mom's. So i really don't know what could be causing this.
