Is the iphone 8 too big?
I'm getting my first phone i don't know what kind to get i don't want to big of a phone like the 10 xr would this be ok or a 7 or a 9?
Not TOO big. I thought it might be also when it came out (I used to use an SE), but recently I bought an iPhone x and have not even found THAT phone too big!
The 7 is really good, my sister has it and she loves it.
The iPhone XR and iPhone X is not that big, but it's bigger than an iPhone 6. Just go to a store and ask to put one in your pocket. Size is so subjective. I have an iPhone XS Max and it fits in my pocket perfectly.

Simple answer to that would be to go see one in a store & judge for yourself.
For reference the iPhone XR is about the size of a iPhone 8 Plus so the iPhone 8 would be smaller than both. The iPhone 7 is the same size as the iPhone 8 & there's no iPhone 9.

I thought that the iPhone XS Max would be big when I went for it, but now I can't go back to the smaller versions. Get the iPhone XS Max if possible, if not, the iPhone 8 is about the same as the iPhone XS. You will not notice much difference other than the looks and the internal specifications which are just a minor improvement.
