Is the iPhone front camera good?

Just wondering. Because every time I look at it I look very weird and ugly. My spots are being exposed even more and it shows so many imperfections. Plus there's a bright light coming from it aswell. My question is. That is what the iPhone front camera shows of myself what my friends see it do I look different and better? Also my nose looks massive on the camera

There's nothing wrong with your iPhone's camera

You are holding a mobile with a camera with a wide angle lens. All wide angle lenses will cause distortion in peoples faces. The only way to prevent this is to use a camera that has a medium telephoto lens and have the camera at least five feet from your face

Those imperfections are there all the time, you just do not see them when you look into the mirror. Next time you find yourself in front of a mirror, take the time to study your face and you will see much more than you do when you are brushing your teeth or combing your hair.

No.

I'm pretty sure you will agree with me on that.

Front cameras are for video conferencing. They have very wide angle lenses (that make your nose gargantuan) and megapixel count is low for faster video transmission.

IPhone cameras capture low quality images. Here's what you can do with a digital camera that an iPhone simply can't.

Closeups: Capturing close to the object is a very important capability to have - it is the cause of some of the most stunning photographs.
Vibrant colors: Very vibrant and vivid colors is refreshing and stunning, but an iPhone captures washout images without the best colors.
HD: High resolution and dimensions are an important measurement for true clarity of an image. Which do you prefer: square blocks of color or a perfect balance of softness and resolution. 1920x1080 can be bad at times, but an iPhone captures in 320x240 and it is very difficult to fix.
Out-of-focus Night Scenery: Out-of-focus circles of color with night backgrounds are a digital camera refreshment. Out at night with the amazing out of focus circles that you sometimes don't even know what it is.
Blurred Night Scenery: At day, blurry isn't good, and that's perhaps why everyone assumes you are deleting blurry photos when you mention you are deleting fails. At night, that isn't the situation - blurred night scenery is stunning and refreshing, and can appear like stunning night worlds if it's done right.
Landscape Orientation: Which do you prefer: an image that is taller than wide and displays two ugly strips of black on the sides of the image, or an image that is wider than tall that fullscreens perfectly; fills up your entire screen (when fullscreened) without two annoying strips of black on the sides (this ratio would be 16:9, but is not the automatic digital camera image ratio).
