Is the iPhone lightning port cable supposed to work both ways?
When you connect it to the computer, does it work both sides?
The lightning cable works on both sides (reversible) for the iPhone 5 charging port, but is a USB port on the other side and USB only works one way.

- Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
