Is there a 30 FPS cap on iphone 5S?

Ok so i recently purchased an iphone 5s and i have noticed that many games appear to be capped at 30 FPS. Games like subway surfers, light bike 2 and even simple games like flappy bird. I know that the iphone 5s's components are very powerful so i do not understand why there seems to be a frame cap on these games. I have played subway surfers on a HTC One and a GS3 right next to the 5S and it runs blatantly smoother on those phones. Is there a FPS cap on the iphone? And is there any way to turn it off?

No there's no CAP iPhone don't have powerful hardware as of android devices. Right now you compared PS3 specs with HIGH END GAMING PC.

Iphone has slower processor and lower RAM

It isn't capped so much as not capable of going faster. The graphics just aren't all that great on the 5S.
