Is there a catch to at&t's free iphone upgrade?
I have a phone upgrade and found out that the iphone 4 is being offered for free (or 99 cents or whatever) and the iphone 4s for 99 dollars and so on. I'm interested in getting the 4 for free, and was wondering if there's a catch to it something like yes the phone is free but you HAVE to buy this 50 dollar warranty or something, if anyone who has got the phone through this promotion could help me out, thanks!
The iPhone 4 is free only with a two year contract. I'm not sure if that's what you consider a catch, but I don't think it really is, considering it isn't something that they try to hide. So yes it is only free with the two year contract and a data plan. I'm assuming you already know that since you can't own a smart phone without a data plan. If this is considered a catch to you, then yes there's a catch. But if its not, there's no other hidden required warrantys or anything like that, no.
