Is there a cellular shut down radius around the president?
My drunk roommate thinks there's a 20 mile radius around the president at all times that thinks all iPhones shut down, someone in DC please comment and tell him he's an idiot.
That's a good question!
No. You can't just make phones shut down magically. You could jam the frequency and thus block cell phone communication, but that would be a bad idea--it'd prevent the president and his security team from communicating, too.
You do realizes when you become president of one of the Super Powers the first thing you do is meet Aliens. And they give Aliens permission to abduct citizens as long as the aliens protect the president, and also help with their health so they live long.
