I haven't ran across any free monitoring applications for the iPhone. What happens is you'll be able to download the software for free, but there's a monthly or annual charge for service. I was looking for free ones too and didn't find them, the best one I've seen so far is Mobile Spy for iPhone. The software is free, but you'll have to pay for the service. The good thing is they offer a full free trial before you buy and they didn't ask for my credit card info at all during the trial. This may be your best bet if you're looking for something that actually works. Another reason I like this Mobile Spy is they have phone support were most other companies didn't.
