Is there a free way to unlock an Iphone 5?
I have a sprint IPhone 5c, I was told that it was unlocked and I would be able to put my T-Mobile sim in it and use it but it turns out that I can't. Is there a way I can unlocked it for free?
There's not way to unlock it for free or by your self. If you go to the carrier which is Sprint they can unlock your device as they have your unlock code. They will charge you a small fee for this most likely around $25. Although many claim to do this online for cheaper around 10 dollars many are scams. So it's best to go to the carrier and get it unlocked
Try googling it… I'm pretty sure someone can unlock it… Where I live there's a site called free or for sale site where I've seen people say they can unlock "jail break"your phone. You could see if your town has that go to facebook and search for… Free or for sale then your city… Hope this helps you… Good luck…
Sprint might unlock it for you, but probably not. You can technically "jailbreak" it, look up a tutorial on youtube. Be aware that this is not legal and also voids the warranty on the phone.
I don't think you can get it unlocked for free. If you want to get it factory unlocked, you've to spend some money for that. If you're ready to do that, mail me for references.
