Use a file manager pick your APK and when if asks if you are okay to install from unknown/untrusted sources you'll get the option to do that temporarily.
Android is set up though that it may not open up everything your app needs access to. In order to do that, you would need to root your phone. However some apps can spot that a phone is rooted and will then not run, to the extent that rooting a phone can render it almost unusable, and there's often no going back
Well that would be impossible because iOS doesn't use APK files; only Android does. IOS uses .ipa files. However, these files can only be officially downloaded through the App Store.
No. You can't install a different file type on another OS. Can't install ipas on Android & vice versa.
- Why won't Cydia download/install anything on my iPhone? I just jailbroke my iPhone 4 w/iOS 6.1 today. But when I went to install the winterboard or any other program it won't work. Messages like "Internal Server Error", or "Timed Out" or "Source Error" comes up in red letters. I've tried on 3G and my Wi-Fi connection and it still won't install anything. Any thoughts people? Are the boys at Cydia or the other sources still working on iOS 6.1 stuff?
