Is there a way for me to transfer (unpurchased) music from one computer to another? A flash drive?
I have a Mac Desktop computer that's about 7 years old. That computer has my original iTunes account, which is over 2,000 songs. Majority of the music wasn't purchased, either downloaded or from CDs. All of this music is also on my iPhone. However, I just got a new MacBook Air and I want to put all of my music on it, especially because I may get a new phone soon. Syncing my phone to my new computer only uploaded music that was purchased from iTunes onto it. Is there some other way for me to transfer all of my music from my old computer to new one? Would a flash/jump drive work?
Transferring it from the old computer is going to Finders, than Music folder, than copy the iTunes folder to your flash drive. After go to your new MacBook Air, than delete the iTunes folder in that music folder, than paste the old iTunes folder in the music folder.
