Is there a way I can use my PC's internet connection for my iphone Wi-Fi?

I don't mean tethering, to use my phone's internet for my PC, I mean the other way around.

You see the router is in my roommate's room down the hall, and while my PC is hardwired into it (ethernet cable), my phone's Wi-Fi is quite weak (1-2 bars) and drops frequently, because it's going through several walls.

Is there a Wi-Fi receiver adapter or something I can use to allow my iphone to connect to my pc's fast internet connection?

Yeah if you set up a Adhock network on your computer and then Bridged the connection you could connected your phone through Wi-Fi to it you should be able to get it to work. This is about bridging in Windows 7 but is similar across the board: http://windows.microsoft.com/...ork-bridge use a router with Wireless LAN (WLAN)
