Is there a way of downloading free music straight to an iPhone?

I don't really think their is I have tried plenty with tie apps but if you go onto the computer and you have itunes you could download a thing called media monkey and sync the music on their and I think. Thats only if you have a pc.
I usually just take my mp3 files and add them to the itunes list, then copy to the iphone. If you mean downloading free popular songs then no as thats copyright violations.
