Is there a way to block all calls and texts on an iPhone 7 plus?

I'm traveling to Dominican Republic a week Saturday. As some may know the ridiculous amount phone companies charge you to use your phone there. The resort I'm staying has Wi-Fi which I will be using so airplane mode is not really an option.

Turn off roaming so you don't accidentally get charged.

Take out the SIM card. Don't answer any calls. I think text is through Wi-Fi. I turned off roaming and cellular while I was in the UK and I was able to text while using the store's Wi-Fi.

Call your phone provider that you don't want to receive any calls.

Turn the phone off and leave it off. Turn it back on when you return. (Or leave it at home.)

You could forward them to a nonexistent number.

Open Settings, then go to "Phone"
Choose "Call Forwarding" and flip it ON.
Tap "Forward to" and enter the number in the prior step, whether it's the voicemail number from *#67# or the disconnected number.
Exit out of Settings.

Or just use the Do Not Disturb feature - that's what it's for.

You can actually use Wi-Fi while Airplane mode is enabled. Enable it and then simply press the Wi-Fi icon in the control center and it will enable Wi-Fi while still having Airplane mode enabled.

Airplane Mode is very much an option & should be used in fact. You can turn on Wi-Fi after turning on Airplane Mode. So simply do that & keep it so until you return.

Just disable the cell radio. Settings>Cellular> Cellular Data, toggle to off. Done.
