Is there an iphone app that keeps track of the location of your phone?
Sort of like "Find my iPhone" except it updates your location while it's on. The problem with "Find my Iphone" is that it only works when your phone is on, so if your phone is dead and lost your screwed. If the phone kept updating its location until it was dead, it would help me find it…
I don't mind being tracked, I'm sure Apple is tracking my location anyways.
I'm afraid all of such tracking apps need your target device to be connected to internet in order to locate it remotely. So the most effective way to protect your idevice is to set up find my iphone and apply some free anti-theft app like iLostFinder.iLostFinder will take pics of the thief when she/he tries to open your device and then send the pics to your email. It can also display a message telling the one who got your device to return it to you.
