Is there an iPhone app that lets me scan barcodes to keep track of how much I'm spending?
It just seems easier for (lazy ole) me than a calculator. If possible, I'd like one that can figure in tax too.
Just off the top of my head I'd say there may be one, but it would most likely base it off the retail price, which is rarely what stores actually sell products for.
You can likely find a lot of barcode reading apps, but the databases that link the barcode data to actual prices are usually the property of each store. The same barcode might have different prices at different stores. I doubt that there's a database large enough to contain each and every barcode you might come across, but it isn't beyond possibility.
- What is the best iPhone app that lets you scan foods to see if they are good for you? I need to be able to scan a bar code while shopping to see if a food product is good to eat or not. Any ideas would be welcomed.
- Isn't there any iPhone app that actually lets you edit the text in a PDF file? The thing is that all apps I've ever seen let you make annotations only, and not delete one text in order to replace it with another. As powerful as Apple brags itself the CPU in the newest iPhone 6S Plus is (I have that very larger model), isn't there any app that conducts the OCR on a PDF file (or recognizes it in any other way), allowing for actual editing?
- Is there an official Apple Store App that lets me transfer my iPhone 4 data to iPhone 5S? Recently got my iPhone 5S unlocked and I'm trying to transfer everything thats on my old iPhone 4 to iPhone 5S. I ask for an official Apple Store App because I want the transfer to be clean and secure and not have it leaked by one of those fake App Store apps. Basically i'm looking for a way to transfer an iPhone to iPhone.
- Is there an iPhone texting app that lets you keep your phone number? I'm on AT&T and it costs $20 a month to send SMS… Is there any app that lets you use your actual phone number without it charging you on your phone bill?
