Is there any hope in the near future for a iphone ios 6 jailbreak for the 4s?

Is there any hope in the near future for a iphone ios 6 jailbreak for the 4s?

May be

Possibly. Chances are slim that it is any time soon, if at all. It used to be, before Apple started really cracking down, that a jailbreak would come out for old and new devices within the month. Then it took a little longer to maybe taking an entire month after the release of a new iOS, then by iOS 5 it took about 2-3 months. At this point, it has been over 4 months and there's no untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 4/new boot 3GS, and no jailbreak at all for the 4S and 5.

I would've thought at least by 4 months there would be an untethered for the 4S but there's not. So if you're asking my opinion, I'd say yes there will be a jb for iOS 6 (there's proof that it is being worked on and it is working but it is extremely buggy/unstable) but it won't be for a while.

Who knows, it might pop out tomorrow right after I say it won't lol. I really don't think there will be a jb for iOS 6 on the 4S and 5 for a while though. Give it till 6 months from iPhone 5's release date, if it isn't out then just give up for now.

Yes

  • Will robots live among humans in the near future? I think it's all a bit scary, even now, with the new iPhone 5S, having a finger print lock, Now the government can easily access even more of our information, including our fingerprints? I guess I'm asking two questions lol.
  • Why is there a blue star near my contacts phone number on my iPhone? I recently tried calling one of my contacts and the calls go straight to "this person can't receive calls at this time we're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused". I checked my other contacts and none have a star near the phone number. Does anyone know what that little blue star means? (For iPhone 5)
  • Water damaged IPhone 4s. Is there hope? Today I idiotically fell into a pool with my iPhone in my pocket. It was submerged for about three seconds and afterward there was no display but it would still vibrate at messages and calls. I shook the water out of it immediately but I couldn't get it in rice for about 20 mins. I took out thr sim card and managed to turn off my phone and I'll let it sit in the rice for 24-48 hours. Is this just a lost cause or is there actually hope in me reviving my "child"
  • My iPhone SE went for a swim with me - Any hope? So right now I'm in Outer Banks (beautiful area, my family rented a house with a pool and a short walk to the beach) and I went for a 5ish minute swim in the pool. Then my mom called me in to have lunch, and that s when I realized I f ed up. My family is big, so I had a bunch of suggestions being thrown at me at once, a bunch of them being the bag or rice. We don't have rice at the house, and nobody s gone food shopping yet. Is my phone a lost cause? Any advice would be a great help.
