Is there any real differences between the iphone 5 and iphone 5s?

I got an iphone 5 my brother just got the 5s. I can't tell any differences beside on the 5s it can read your fingerprint (wooahhh! So cool!) and he has slow mo video recording and I don't. Other then that I see 0 difference. I got to be missing something right? Is this really what apple is selling people?

Other than what you pointed out, there's not much else. The camera is better, with slow motion and better continuous mode. As well as there being larger pixels which produces better pictures (at least I believe that is the improvement they made).

In addition, the other changes are all internal. They included the A7 processor which is faster and also 64 bit, opposed to 32 bit. There's also the separate chip that is used for motion sensor and is utilized in many of the fitness apps.

Besides Touch ID there's NO difference. It has an A7 chip which makes the 5S what, a second faster? And it has a slightly better camera. If you noticed iPhones only change every 2 years. The "S" models are only slight improvements to their predecessors.

I used to be that idiot who absolutely had to own the newest iPhone, but I fwas fiinally able to wake up and smell the coffee.

Iphone 5s is way faster because of the a7 processor its a bit lighter plus you get ID touch. Other then that iphone 5 is the same if your happy with the speed of your iphone 5 why waste your money
