Is there any reason not to buy the iPhone 5? (If I have no iPhone)?
I might need to switch to verizon (from tracfone) and am considering getting an iPhone. I currently don't have an iPhone and am wondering if it's worth spending $200 for an iPhone 5? If I'm going to have it for 2 years, I want something to last me that time. Is it worth it over the 4s?
I would say that the iPhone 5 is definitely worth it compared to the 4S when it comes to longevity. This is because the iPhone 5 is still Apple's flagship phone while the 4S has already been out for a year. So, that plus the higher resolution display, aluminum and glass material (vs the all glass body on the 4S), better camera, better processor, and higher amount of RAM does make the iPhone 5 a better purchase for the next 2 year contract for you. Hope this helped.
It will last way more then 2 years, many still use 3GS today and thats 4 years old now.
You can do so much more with Anrdoid.iPhones are not worth it these days.
If you can afford the $200 I would go for the 5. The only time the 5 isn't worth $200 is if you already had the 4S - the 5 is better, but not $200 better! The 5 has a bigger screen and is a little faster, etc. Also Apple will release updates for it for longer than older phones.
- WHAT's WRONG WITH VERIZON FOR IPHONES? Any one else having the issue of it saying no service? Keeps going in and out for no reason SO ANNOYING IT DOES THIS LIKE 20 times a day! IT DID THIS WHEN I HAD A SCHEDULED INTERVIEW OVER THE PHONE AND THEY TRIED CALLING AND LEFT A VOICE MAIL AND I HAD TO RESCHEDULE. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! I had this issue last year on my iPhone 5s and it was happening again like a week ago. I put the SIM card into my 6plus and sure enough. SAME THING. I'm GONNA STICK MY FOOT UP VERIZONS *** AND MAKE THEM LICK THE POOP OFF MY TOES!
- What's the reason why you have to have a SIM card to activate an iPhone? What if I want to use my phone after my plan gets canceled. Is that legal without a sim? And is it legal to use someone's sim to activate it if my phone software brakes. But what's the reason that you need one to get into the iPhone? That doesn't seem right at all to not allow someone to get into an iPhone that has one.
- What reason could there be for someone not using Wi-Fi in Nepal? My son is in Nepal but his phone is no longer getting my whatsapp messages and we have no communication via his iphone… What could be the reason for this as he was last in Kathmandu, staying with a family and had perfect Wi-Fi connection?
- Is there any reason to get the Nike + sensor if I have an iPhone? I recently purchased a pair of Nike running shoes that have a spot for the Nike + sensor and I've always just used the Nike running app on my iPhone when I run so is there anything the sensor could do that the app couldn't? I figured probably better tracking of elevation (I run in a really hilly area), but other than that I wasn't sure if it was worth looking into.
