Is there any way around verizons 35$ restocking fee?
I have had the iphone 5 for not even a day… And i hate it so much (not saying its bad just not my type) anyways verizon makes you pay 35$ to return it and get a new phone all i'm asking is there any way around that considering i have not even taken most of the things out of the box, i would like to get the samsung galaxy s4.
My daughter did the opposite. She was talked into the samsung galaxy s4 and had it 3 days and hated it. She got the iPhone 5 but she had to pay the $35. She was so unhappy with the samsung galaxy s4, she did not hesitate to pay it
Look up Apple's full retail price of that phone, which is close to what the carrier pays for that phone. Used is used and you can't sell a used phone at even the discounted price. They lose the full price of that phone when you return it. They won't let you out of the $35 restock fee on the $650 phone. The restock fee is there to deter you from making an impulsive decision and buying the wrong phone. You made an impulsive decision, got the wrong phone, and get to pay it.

- Restocking fee for Verizon iPhone 5? I just bought my iphone 5 on the 21st and want to return it (complex reasons). From some websites i hear the restocking fee is $35, but from others i hear there's a $100 fee tacked on because it is an iphone. Can someone please tell me if it is $35 or $100? *if it helps, i bought it at a "verizon 4g wireless" store, which is supposedly a retailer of verizon, not sure if that makes a difference.
