Is there anything I can do to fix this problem at T-Mobile?
I switched over to T-Mobile from Sprint and bought (Financed) an iPhone 5s on March 4, 2014.
Well a couple of weeks ago my phone was stolen.
When I had purchased the phone I had asked the worker setting up my account to put "JUMP!" on my plan. This includes phone insurance.
Well, when I had went in last week to get a replacement phone (because I was under the impression my phone was insured) they said I didn't have insurance so I'm SOL.
I looked over my bill from the last 2 months (Since I started my plan) and it doesn't show the insurance there.
Another T-Mobile told me that all the guy (The guy who sold me the phone) had to do was tell customer care that I was supposed to have it but something happened and it didn't save on my account.
He said he won't do it because "He doesn't remember talking to me"
Is there anything I can do? Because I asked for it, and was under the impression I got it.
I guess I should have looked over my contract more thoroughly and reconfirmed multiple times with the guy to make sure i had it.
Maybe I can talk to his manager or someone above that? I don't know, but I need my phone because of the field of work I'm in.
He might not remember talking to you, but that's what notes, documentation, and receipts are for. His name or employee number is probably coded in some of that paperwork. Sadly, I know the burden of proof is on you since you signed off on it. Not to be distracted but I would elevate it to a manager level and deal with that later. In the mean time, you could bite it and buy a used one until this is resolved. Hope it works out for you. Best luck.
You can do a couple things.
1. You can call customer service and add insurance to the phone now and then wait 60 days and file a claim on the phone to get a new one.
2. You could just susspend the line and they just charge you 8.99 for that line and what ever your plan cost.
3. You could just add another line and get a free phone have them do a number swamp to your other number and suspend the new number so your not paying for anything but 8.99 for that line.
Thats all I got for you man lol. Hope something works out.
- My iPhone 5c Wi-Fi isn't working right. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I just got an iPhone 5c a few weeks ago & the Wi-Fi SUCKS! Safari is really slow, and all of my apps that require an Internet connection (even the pre-installed ones), crash all the time. It's Really annoying. Oh, and it has nothing to do with our internet connection/router/whatever it's called because all of my other devices (laptop, iPad, etc.) work great with the Wi-Fi.
