Is there away to restart and iPhone without having to restore it?

I got the iOS 7 beta and sometimes it's buggy so I was wondering. Is there a way to just reboot it if it becomes unresponsive instead of putting it into DFU mode. Like say the screen becomes black and neither the home nor power button are responsive. Can I just reboot it instead of using recovery mode. Just wondering cause I'm going on vacation and I don't want a frozen phone in DFU mode with no laptop to restore it.

You'll have problems restoring and activating again unless your device's UDID is registered. I did mine at http://www.instantudid.com/ for $5.

Press and Hold the Home button (button in the front of your screen) and Sleep button (button used to lock the screen) both at same time for 10 secs. Once you see the Apple logo leave the buttons. Wait for few minutes and you iPhone should be good.
