Is there really a major difference between the iPhone 4 & the iPhone 4s?
I was told i was getting a iPhone 4s but my parents said it was too expensive so instead i'm getting the 4.Is there a huge difference between the two? Which one is better and why?
The 4S is newer, it's a little faster, the camera is a little better, and it has Siri. Unless you use Siri a lot (most people don't) you probably won't notice any real difference. They look 100% the same.
The 4S is the better one of course.

Faster processor
iOS longevity
Better graphics
Higher capacity battery
& of course Siri.
4S = better hardware and Siri.
Although they both look the same on the outside, the iphone 4s is better. It has Siri, a better processor, better camera, better graphics, and a bunch of other tweaks that aren't included in the iphone 4.
While the 4s might be "better", it doesn't mean it's significantly better. Let me address the points the guy above me pointed out.
Has faster data speeds
Unless you're playing intense online multilayer games, you won't notice it. Youtube, Pandora, Spotify, and most definitely social networking sites will play seamlessly.
Higher MP camera, 1080p video
This is a gimmick. More pixels doesn't mean better quality. The added pixels means almost nothing when you're only viewing pictures on your phone and facebook. Unless you plan to print them out, it won't make any difference. If you plan on printing them out, using an iPhone camera is dumb anyways.
Better Bluetooth
Who the hell uses Bluetooth?
Faster processor
Slightly faster. Not that noticeable, unless you came from an extremely fast phone.
iOS longevity
This is true. Eventually Apple will discontinue iOS upgrades for the iPhone 4, but by then, you will most likely move on to a new phone.
Better graphics
The graphics are better, but the display is the same. That means that you won't notice it unless you use graphic intense apps.
Higher capacity battery
No comment
& of course Siri.
I have Siri and don't really use her. Who really wants to talk to their phones? Take the 5 seconds to do the task yourself lol.
No there's not a huge difference among iPhone 4S and 4 but it still is noticeable difference iPhone 4s is better that 4 in many things. Mainly have few OS enhancements and SIRI feature which is main part of 4S. - Will there be a huge difference between the Iphone 4s and Iphone 5? I'm just wondering what you guys think… Because i don't think there will be a massive one. I currently have an iphone 4s and think well what else can they really do apart from make the screen wider and overall a thinner model. It's already quick enough and the camera is awesome. Also the same ios is going to be available for the iphone 4s and 5 so they'll just the same almost! I know they may have some new feature or two but really have they reached the max yet?

As I'm going to buy my first iPhone next month so,6s & the 6 looks too much similar from the exterior don't know about the interior though. Buying 6 instead of 6s would save a bit of money to me. But still would love to seek guidance from you guy's that what are the major difference's.
- What are major dffrences between the iphone 4 and 4s? I have the iPhone 4, would it be pointless to upgrade to the 4s? If the 4s is just like the 4 then it would pry be better to just get the 5s. I need to know differences between the two phones if their is any.
