Is there something wrong with this iphone 4s? - 1
I got given the iphone 4s from a family member who no longer needed it, before the phone was on contract (vodafone). I've put a pay as you go Vodafone sim in and I've tried to top up but whenever I try to ring it says call failed? I couldn't get onto the app store but when I finally did I needed to upgrade but everything is in the family members name, like his email, etc.
If anyone can talk me through how to set it up or if anythings wrong with it, it'd be appreciated. Sorry if I don't make sense never used an iPhone before.
I recommend setting it up as a new iPhone, this will enable you to have full access to the App Store and iTunes, as well as allowing you to update and do other things to the iPhone. However, doing this will delete all install apps, and all your contacts, music, photos and EVERYTHING else on the phone… So make sure you back up what you want to keep first.
Anyway, first plug the iPhone into a computer with iTunes installed, then open iTunes if it doesn't do so automatically. You should then see your iPhone appear as a device in the left hand column of iTunes… Click that and then click "Restore" and follow the instructions from there. Doing this should also allow you to upgrade your iPhone to the latest iOS software (iOS6).
You will need an iTunes account to download new apps etc. You can do this after you have restored the iPhone.
- There's something wrong with my itunes store for iphone 5? When I click on the app to open it, it loads for a second before it automatically goes back to my home screen. What should I do? I already turned my iphone off and on and cleared my history repeatedly. Is there any solution besides restarting my iphone 5 again? By the way, this iphone 5 is not new, and it had been working after I had updated to IOS7 until i had noticed this morning.
- My Iphone 4s Headjack Port has or something wrong with it what wrong? My IPhone head jack has something in it or something wrong, because it was working fine and then the next day i plug my beats it wouldn't fully go in I had to force it and hold it down then if I let go it go out so i use my apple headphone same thing I look inside try to take it out or see it nothing happen I don't know what in it but I put the light or shine don't see nothing i use the paper clip to see if I could take it nothing there Please Help
- Is there something wrong with the Crunchyroll anime app? This has happened to me on multiple episodes, including "Naruto Shippuden","Attack on Titan", and others. They are not specific episodes from what I can gather, but it may be my IPhone 4s. I have full internet, so that s not the problem. (Have not tried to reset the router/modem yet).A quick answer would be appreciated, thank you!
- Is there something wrong with my phone or is there something wrong with my mom's phone? Ok so when I attempt to call my mom, it doesn't ring it just goes straight to voicemail but doesn't show on my mom's phone that she had a missed called. My messages won't go through either, but her calls and messages come through to me. We both have iPhones and they are both on. I can text everyone else, call everyone else but her.
