Is this a good idea? IPhone?
Hi, so my friend gave me an idea on how to get an iPhone. He said, to find a free one under a contract from someone on kijiji, and get it from them, and say that I'm from out of town. Then I can sell that one, and buy a new one! Are there any legal complications with this? Besides the obvious? I've already emailed 4 people about an iPhone. One has responded so far. I just want to know what I'm getting in to.also, if they're under Rogers or Bell, or any other company other than the one I'm under currently, can't I unlock the phone to use with my company?
The phone will be blacklisted once the contract isn't paid making it useless as a phone, and whoever you sell it too very mad.
- What do you do with a good iPhone app idea but no money? I thought of a brilliant iPhone app idea. This idea is potentially worth millions (Of course it would be a big project to get started). The problem is that I have no money to hire programmers, and I definitely can't make it by myself. Any advice?
- Used iphone on ebay, good or bad idea? Thinking of buying a unlocked iphone on ebay. Is this a good idea? Will I have probs with activation? Can I use straight talk with it?
- Is trading a PSP 1000 for an iphone 3g a good idea? I'm trading someone my PSP 1000 that no longer reads memory sticks for his old iphone 3g 8GB. I'm looking for something to use as an apple-style mp3 player. Would it be a good trade? With the PSP I'm giving him a carrying case, charger, and a few games because he bought me lunch. With the iPhone, he's giving me a hard case, a charger, and a pair of skullcandy lowriders. Would you consider this wise or should i give less?
- Is this a good idea for a cheap way to get the iPhone 5? I just thought of this idea. I currently have an iPhone 4 and I want an iPhone 5. There are no upgrades until May and I can't take that one. Is a good idea to add a new line for 10 dollars, Cancel my other line for 175$, add data for 35$ and then buying the iPhone for 200$. That will equal a little over 400$ and then selling my phone for 150$.So all I really have to pay is around 250$. Do you think this will work or will it mess up my family's account plan. Any suggestions?
