Is this a good thing to ask for for Christmas?

I never really get things that I like for Christmas. Usually I get something I asked for and a lot of clothes which are out of style (my mom isn't exactly the best with fashion, but I love her anyways). So this year I want to go to the mall with my friend(s) so I can pick out my own stuff (like clothes, makeup, jewelry, ect). I want to ask for $40 (I can bring another $20/$30 from my own wallet) and a trip to the mall with my friend(s).

But I also have something else in mind. I want a cellphone (hopefully the iPhone 4S) because right now I use my dad's old iPod touch 1st generation and all the good apps are for the newer models. I have a texting app on it but I can't call and it's just not the same. Even if I just had the iPhone 4S without a plan I'd be happy cuz I could download a good texting and calling app. So I want to ask for my parents and grandparents to pitch in together and pay for half of it and I can pay for the other half. (BTW it is $400 something right? Because this can only work out if it's $400 something or lower)

So what do you think I should ask for? A trip to the mall or 1/2 of an Iphone 4S?

Well… I got the i-phone 4 for my birthday and i'm perfectly happy with it. The iphone 4s cost $100 more just because it has siri, which you can probably download ANYWAY. I got my iphone from verizon for $99 i think. Just ask your mom to add it on to her plan because for my mom it was only $10 extra a month. I would ask her for both lol. The same thing happens with my mom (she can't pick out my clothes) maybe you could ask for an i-phone and a gift card if you only want two gifts.

hope this helps

Just a suggestion but you could always ask for both and they can decide which they want to give. My parents used to make us make a list with big and small things and they picked which they wanted (and could afford) to buy for us. Another suggestion is you could ask for gift cards to put towards the phone you want. I'm not sure which carrier you are interested in but for example, if you got a $25 verizon gift card you could put towards the phone you want.

Also, maybe you could go to the mall one day and point out things you like to your mom so she would know specific things you like.

Well, i think this is a good idea

  • What to ask for for Christmas? I basically know what I want, but my mom likes for me to give her a big list to see different ideas. So far I know I want an iPhone, Ugg cheetah print moccasins, LL Bean moccasins, Gift Cards, and a cute sweater dress. Ideas would be great! Especially shoes! If there are any adorable shoes that would be cute then I wanna know! But more creative ideas would be good too.

  • What should a teenage girl ask for christmas? So, I'm your average teenage girl. I like music, I love makeup, and I wear clothes from forever 21. What should I ask for christmas? My mom always spoils me so feel free to list as many things as you want. Please don't say laptop, tv for my room, and iphone or ipod cause i have all of these things already. I'd prefer if you answered actual gifts instead of listing a bunch of stores to ask for giftcards.
