Is this a valid reason to feel neglected in my family?

I don't know if i'm just being bratty or what not but my sister has gotten 2 ipods, 2 androids, and 2 iPhone 5s's from my mother (she got two of each because she breaks everything she touches), she also has a mac from my mom while i still do not have a smart phone and i have had one ipod and she bought me a PC for christmas. (all of these item have been bought in the past 3 years). She was going to buy me an android for my birthday but instead is getting herself a new phone and giving me her old cracked phone. I was upset and told her that i didn't think it was fair and now I'm not getting a phone at all… She says I'm acting spoiled. But is this a valid thought that i'm not treated as well as my sister? She is also a year older than me so that may be why she gets more but i feel like no one likes me in my family. I get good grades and am not a horrible kid so what do you think the deal is?

Added (1). And it is impossible to have a talk with my mother, she yells about everything I do and i don't know why but i haven't been able to have a legitimate talk with her about anything important since about two years ago

Yes, You are probably adopted and she is their real child. You can get more if you kill her or go to a foster home.

Are there items you have receieved that your sister has not? Is your sister normally more demanding than you are? Sometimes parents cater to the child who has more problems, without realizing what they are doing to the better behaved child. I don't have enough information to know whether this the case in your family, but just thought I would throw that out there. It might be a good idea to wait until you are not upset and have an honest talk with your mother and tell her how you feel. Sometimes it helps to write things down ahead of time, in order to stay on track.
