Is this bribery or extortion?
The parents of a girl hated her husband but never mentioned it,
He experienced strange incidents with people in their home town, at first he assumed it was a red neck part of the country but one day a waiter at a restaurant who's brother also worked at the same company where he is from told him that his in laws are talking behind his back,
What happened was that during one Christmas his in laws arranged to send money every month to their daughter to pay for a private day care school for the grand children, no one asked for it, it was a gift, but in their home town they showed everyone they knew bank statements and claimed they where supporting their daughters family to justify their anger towards him.
When the couple confronted them about this they denied it at first but then simply demanding they separated with no justification
The couple got them into family counseling and where surprised to hear that they where angry because was their son in law is a Jehovah's witness, they admitted they lied about the money and still threatened to take them to court for child visitations, and the psychologists claimed they could not reach a solution to allow the grandparents access to the grand children?
They asked the psychologists why she did this knowing they admitted to lying about money and defamation but she said its the law, then the couple told her they recorded the meetings on their iphones but she claimed the meetings where private and they are illegal.
What next?
After reading this convolution of words:
Let the gps take them to court. They'll find that they don't get visitation "rights." It's up to the parents.
The parents need to divorce the grandparents.
