Is this permanent water damage?

My iphone was dropped in a pool yesterday, I quickly got it out and dried it off and let it sit in a bag of rice. After a night I triee to see how it works. Everything was fine except for the sounds. Music will not play without being plugged in to charge or without headphones. The keyboard clicks and lock screen will not work either. When I have it plugged in my ihome everything works fine. Even when I quickly take it off and type it works but after about 10 seconds it goes away. Will these go away or is this permanent?

It's hard to say at this point. It may still be damp. The bag of rice thing is better than nothing for people with little in the way of DIY skills. It's much better to get the unit open if possible and dry the circuitry with a hair dryer on a low heat setting and let it sit open in front of a fan or in a well ventilated area for a good while after that. This will dry things much more quickly and more thoroughly, reducing the likelihood of permanent damage.

I would try to dry it some more and see what happens.
