Is this too much to ask for? - 1

Well I was thinking about what I want for my birthday this year since its just about a month to go now and I was considering a few things I would like. I was thinking of an Apple MacBook, studio beats by Dr Dre, new jack wills clothes (hoodies, tops etc) new abercrombie jeans, new make up and to go back to London for a week or so to go shopping again! Does it sound like a lot?
Keep in mind that for Christmas I got an iPhone, iPad and masses loads of new clothes and make up so this may sound abit extravagant!
What do you guys think?

You are a very spoiled little girl. Hopefully you will get a real job one day and realize how much it takes to get the THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS worth of stuff that you are asking for.

If YOU had to pay for all of that stuff YOURSELF, WOULD YOU? Can you afford to buy all that stuff. Can your parents? Yes, it DOES sound extravagant. Limit it to the Apple Macbook. My Kindle Fire was my Christmas present to myself in 2011.

Yes, it's a lot. Why don't you just be content with a few things instead of wanting to ask for so much? I don't know how old you are, but when I was a teen (which isn't too far back at all), I didn't have the need or desire to have so much of those! Nice clothes or decent ones are fine, and whatever I needed. There will be a time when you will hopefully realize that somebody put time - part of their life - into getting you something, and you'll wish that it wasn't spent on getting you something trivial.

WHOA! That is too much to ask for!
a mac-book is like $1, 200

beats are like $300

that is alot and clothes on top of that!

A TRIP TO LONDON!

if you're rich then i guess it isn't too much to ask for an if your parents can afford it Lucky you!
but if not i think that is too much to ask for.

answer my question please?

Yes. That is way too much. Something more reasonable would be a single video game, a software program, a new pair of shoes, a new outfit, go out to your favorite restaurant… But only 1-2 of those.

Keep in mind you're asking your parents to spend a great deal of money and they have to work hard just to pay for your day to day life.

You need to appreciate more what they do for you for you already, thank them and tell them that you love them. You should even tell them "it's so nice of you to give me all of this stuff, but you don't have to.you're very good to me and I love you."

If they insist upon buying stuff for you, then let them. At least you knew that. But don't kid yourself… You're getting 5 times - 10 times as much as a normal kid. So don't ever ask or expect for what you've been getting.

  • My ask.fm won't let me ask anonymous? I have an iPhone 4, and I didn't update to iOS7. When the ask.fm app had an update recently, it didn't allow people to ask anonymous. So people could delete it then just not update it when they redownloaded it. Well I have deleted it like 3 times and I haven't updated it either. Why can't I ask anonymous questions still? And how can I?
  • Iphone is heating up too much by using cellular data? Whenever i turn on cellular data, te screen and back of my iphone gets very hot after 10 minutes or so. I was wondering if this was normal or there's a problem.
  • If I ask my cousin in Australia if she has a iPhone, should I ask for her Email address? My cousin Britteny lives in Australia and she has a 19 hour different time zone from us Californians. We text each other through my dads Facebook Messenger. If I ask her for her Email address and if she has a iPhone, do you think it will be a good idea to actually talk to each other? She is a 15 year old girl, and I'm a 14 year old guy.
  • How much should I ask for my iPhone 4S? Black, 16GB, ear buds, wall charger, everything that came with it in the box is included, it's in very good shape 9/10, I'm thinking off trading it because I need money to upgrade to the iPhone 5 how much should I ask for it
