Is this worth paying the money?

Is it worth paying the money to upgrade from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5s? I'm going to buy the iPhone 5s not get it on contract.

Only you can answer that question. I have the iPhone 4 and I think mine has plenty of life left in it. I don't think I'll upgrade for at least another year.

Oh… And it's always worth it to buy outright rather than on contract. You pay for your phone several times over going the contract route.

I have the iPhone 4 too!

I normally get the iPhone before the newest one to get a good deal, so you can wait until the next one, unless you want the 'next new thing'. Apple prices don't change until the next one comes out, due to apples pricing guide, which applies in all of their stores.

I would wait until the next one, because the values only going to go down, no matter what you do to it.

Hope I helped.

I don't understand why people keep asking this question and can't even ask it the right way.

Anything - iPhones, candy bars - is "worth it" if it does what you want and costs no more than you'd like to spend.

" I'm going to buy the iPhone 5s not get it on contract"

Then it's not really an upgrade, is it? You're just buying a new phone. I don't understand why you'd buy w/o a contract since you'll have to get some contract anyway. But you've probably got some alternative plan. Why you'd leave out what that plan is is a mystery since the details of your plan would be relevant to whether it was "worth paying the money".
