Is Wi-Fi text messaging from iphones free to non-iphones? - 1
My boyfriend downloaded this texting thing on his iPhone that allows him to text me when he's out of the country without charging him extra for long distance. Will I still be charged if I text him? There's a different number when he texts from Wi-Fi so I will be sure to text that, but will I be charged anyways?
Yes, whenever you text someone with your own number, that is registered with the cell phone company's, they charge you. If you download that iPhone app, then it is free to text anyone if you use Wi-Fi, since you have data limits

It is COMPLETELY free. It uses Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi does not cost money! I don't know why everyone is giving you such descriptive answers, it's a yes or no question, haha!
