Is your Wi-Fi connection fast with your iPhone 5?

I've got an iPhone 5 and its Wi-Fi connection should be very fast, as Apple said. Nevertheless, my iPhone 5 in Wi-Fi is slower than my pc (Windows) that is 6-7 years old. Especially in YouTube, it's often impossible to me watching HD videos, because it loads them too slowly. Is it normal? If I took my iPhone to an Apple Store, they wouldn't find any problem, because it's an occasional problem; some days it's "fast" (normal), some days it's slow. That's very annoying! I've also installed today iOS 6.1 but nothing has changed.

I have a friend with iphone 5 hes Wi-Fi is only slow on some of the connections but hes own Wi-Fi works fine. My guess would be that is something with your Wi-Fi. I have an iphone 4 but i had the same problem but i just checket out some options that would make it slower. But that was far long ago so i don't really remember. Maybe if you deactivate stuff that you don't use that takes Wi-Fi that might give better work to the stuff you're actually using.

Honey, Normal

  • Your connection is not private? Okay so this comes up when I go to some sites such as Google and Facebook. I have been googling (on my iPhone) what the solution is and people say to check the date and correct it but my date is correct, so what do I do? By the way, I'm not at all good with computers so if you do know a solution keep it worded simply. I appreciate the help, thanks.
  • Your connection does not support online multiplayer? I've recently downloaded cod-black ops zombies on my iphone and ipad but there seems to be a problem with multiplayer. I googled everything and tried even port forwarding! Nothing! Can anyone help with a fully-detailed guide? Thanks If i change my modem will it be ok?

  • IPhone 5 charges really fast but loses battery life fast? I have an iPhone 5 with the iOS 8 but since I updates to iOS 7 the battery started to lose rapidly. It would be on 100% in the morning and at about 11 would be down to 40%. It would also only take 2-3 hours to fully charge and I think that's why it's losing power so quickly. Is there a way I can stop that?
