ITunes error 1669 fix after iPhone 5 repair?

Long story short, changed the housing of my iPhone 5 7.0.4 (probably at 7.1 now), everything was fine except signal was stuck "searching…" regardless whether SIM inserted or not. Put it in recovery mode and restore it, but keep getting iTunes error 1669. According to research, it's a hardware problem. No warranty so can't get Apple support. I have no problems personally taking the phone apart and putting it back together, so if you think you know the solution, that'd be swell.
And yes, I tried updating/downgrading iTunes, using a different computer, etc, nothing worked. Once again, can't bring it Apple and don't want to spend a lot of money on a completely new phone.

  • Iphone 4 back plate won't fit after repair how do I fix it? I had to take apart my iphone 4 in order to fix the power button (it's out of warranty), everything went smoothly, except I can't get the back plate to fit back on properly. It seems like there's something that is in the way. I have taken it apart several times to try to make it fit but still no luck. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
