ITunes says my iPhone 5 is in recovery mode?
Please read the entire question before answering!
Okay, so I bought myself an iPhone 5 16Gb and it worked well for a few days but just the other day when I plugged it into itunes, iTunes says it is in recovery mode. I have already tried restarting my computer, updating itunes, restarting the phone, and updating my phone firmware via the settings app. No Changes.

My razr never says that.
- My iphone is stuck in recovery mode, and iTunes won't recognize it? They don't recognize it neither in recovery mode and neither in DFU mode. Is there a way to ''hard reset'' or reboot it without itunes? This happened while i was trying to install ios 8 GM.

It shows on my. computer in recovery mode but no light on the screen! It shows no signs of charging but when pluged into my computer it pops up In recovery mode but you can't see anythings! I have an iPhone 4 jailbroken on 6.1 and all of a sudden when I plug my phone in to my computer it says my phone is in recovery mode, even though it clearly isn't. It says the same error when I boot in safemode so I doubt it's the jailbreak that causes it, so does anyone know if there's anything that can fix this? It's not really the end of the world if there's no fix for it anyway.

I need to make sure my pics are backed up but Can't get into phone to check. Is there a way to stop mandatory restore?
