Itunes won't import library?
Just got a macbook pro, and I'm setting up iTunes but it will not sync my music… So i went onto File>Devices>Sync from iPhone so that it would import the stuff from my iPhone onto the mac. The problem is that i don't have all the stuff on my iPhone that i would like on my mac, for example, my movies since it would take up too much space on my iPhone. How can i retrieve all the movies i've bought onto my iTunes?
If you purchased from Apple, sign into the iTunes store and download the movies you want onto the Mac.
Once downloaded you can add them to your phone by synching.
- Will downloading a new iTunes ruin my old iTunes library? I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated. It said I need to download a new version of iTunes (10.7 onwards) for it to be compatible with my iPhone. But my question is, IF I download a new version of iTunes, will all my old songs on my old iTunes disappear? Because if I had to re-download my whole library, I would seriously cry. That would take the rest of my life.
- Why won't my iphone 4 sync with my itunes library? For some reason it does not work. I tried automatically syncing it and manually, but I can only get the songs if it is in a playlist. I want to be able to see all of the songs by artist though and the new songs are not under there. Also, some of the artists have spelling errors which I fixed on my itunes library, but which won't come up in my iphone. Really annoying. It used to be I just plugged in my ipod and everything synced with the itunes library.
- IPhone 5 won't sync to iTunes library? So I just got the iphone 5c and when I try to sync iTunes library to transfer my music, it's still gray. Also, every time i connect my phone to my computer iTunes recognizes it as a new phone and asks me everytime if I want to restore settings or use as new iphone. I must've restored at least 5 times and still can't sync. I beginning to think it might be the library and not the phone.
- In itunes is there any way to select multiple songs to send to itunes library? I just mixtapes from datpiff and the only way i could put it in my library was to select manage songs manually under my devices. I didn't know that it would delete my songs from my iphone to put that on but it did. I only have songs from itunes, not beemp3 or datpiff.luckily all my songs are saved under the music file and its 319 songs. Is there any way i can select all them to put in my library? I know about the hold shift trick but its not working.
