ITunes won't sync my albums?

A few years ago, an old friend of mine bought 2 Avril Lavigne albums on iTunes (Under My Skin and The Best Damn Thing). Since then I've homeshared both albums to my iTunes and they would always sync to my iPod and my iPhone without any trouble but last week iTunes told me that I couldn't sync the albums to my iPhone because my laptop isn't authorized to? I don't understand because they've always worked perfectly fine before… I've de-authorized and re-authorized all the computers that are registered on my Apple ID but it still says my laptop is unauthorized to play these albums. And its just the 2 as well, its really weird. I'm wondering if my friend has deleted the Apple ID he bought them on, could that be the problem? So if anybody knows how to, I'd like to be able to get these albums back on my iPhone (I haven't synced my iPod, so they are still on there, I want to be able to listen to them until I can get this sorted!) without having to buy the albums again. I've already tried burning the albums on to a CD and homesharing the albums from somebody else - both times it came back saying my computer wasn't authorized. Please help! Oh, and if anybody had an email address that I could use to contact Apple that would be great, that's what the guy at the Apple store said when I went there and asked but I looked on the website and couldn't find one?

I'm not sure why it wouldn't authorize the albums… How about you look in the Apple store on your iTunes, on the right side of the screen under "Quick Links" where it says "Purchased" check in the music section to see if it's still their.

If not go to the Apple website "Apple.com" and in the iTunes section their should be a part to ask for help.

  • Why won't certain albums transfer from iTunes onto my iPhone? Most albums I can drag onto my phone without issues. But Gorillaz D-sides disk 1.disk 2 works fine)) and Best of Björk Wong work. It doesn't show each one being transferred like normal and when I open up my phone library on iTunes, they show up but are a lighter shade of grey and have this weird dotted circle on the left of them
  • Why does iTunes split up my albums? This probably one of the only things I liked better about my Windows phone. When I transferred albums from my PC to my phone, all of the albums stayed in tact, whether or not there was more than one artist featured on a given album. However, as I began to transfer music from my PC to my iPhone, the albums were split up anytime a song had a different artist. Why does iTunes do this? It is beyond annoying.
  • Songs in itunes won't sync to ipod but will sync to iphone? So i have over a 1000 songs in my itunes library and they will all sync to my iphone no problem. But when i try to sync to my ipad (which has enough memory available) it will not.
  • My iTunes won't sync certain albums? I have the latest version of iOS 7 on my phone, and I have the latest version of iTunes itself. Some of my new albums that I've downloaded (not from the iTunes store) are not syncing to my phone. This is the first issue that I've had with syncing music that I've downloaded elsewhere. Does anyone know what's happening? I've also restarted both my iPhone and computer.
